When will the doctors do a membrane sweep? Tomorrow is my 39 weeks apt, but I'll be 40 weeks on Saturday. Will they do it tomorrow or wait until next week when I've past 40 weeks?

They don't have to do one. I have never had one and my ob never mentioned doing it, not that I would let her anyway

@beebaby, oh okay I thought it was something they just went ahead and did because I've seen a lot of people post they had one done. lol I went into the hospital with my first when I was 40 weeks exactly so that wasn't something that was done with him

Some people get it done at 37 or 38 weeks. Has your doc talked about it

@beebaby, no they haven't. I see someone different every week. I see the doctor I usually see tomorrow. My due date is Saturday. Last week I was 2cm, so I guess we will see what happens tomorrow
