So I've been pestering my son's school all year about my concerns that he might have an auditory processing disorder or even a cognitive disorder. All year I've been telling his teacher and today I found out that she did bring it up to the school counselor but they didn't do anything because he's okay academically. Seriously? He is more than just a grade in the class, he's a person who's having a bit of a hard time with other things outside of academia but they don't care cause it's all about the numbers and that school rating 😡
