I've always heard no Fluoride till 2. My son still uses no Fluoride tooth paste. But if the dentist gave it to ya i would assume it's okay to use since they know best. If ya want you could call and ask

I used no fluoride until recently. I was waiting until my son would actually spit the toothpaste out before i switched him to fluoride toothpaste.

There's fluoride in our water. The issue with fluoride in toothpaste before 2 is that they can swallow too much and it can cause fluorosis. As long as you use a tiny bit it won't harm them

They gave my son fluoride toothpaste too, i just waited until he spit it out on his own to switch him. I'd rather stick with the fluoride free until he would spit it out

You should do some research. I prefer not to use fluoride. The fluoride in toothpaste is not natural it's man made. Natural fluoride is health. For example if you live out in the country and your tap water is from a well. Also if your in the city check how your water is treated and go based off that. Children don't always spit out whatever they have in their mouth. Just my opinion.

@smilingwithmyawesome4kids I guess because a little really doesn't do harm. The thought of fluoride just scares me.

Your using a pea size amount which wont effect the child when brushing.

Certain foods contain Flouride as well so beware. Not just tooth paste or drinking water

Yes it does clean his teeth just like any other kind. Water, grape flavor , dried fruit and beans, certain tea from soil, walnut
