I wanted one but she said 4000 cash outta pocket so ill jus do a water birth at the hospital

@mrs.bowe, see if you can find midwives in your state that offer discounts to people on (medi caid) I don't know what it would be in your state but I'm in CA and I just got medi cal and I found a few places that offer sliding scales and take monthly payments for people on medi cal. A lot of the places wantes 5200 up front here as well
