I don't think it's child abuse at all. But I was on the fence for a while. It happens to be my daughter ped office does it and uses a numbing cream. So I went and got it done and she didn't feel it when they did it. Like didn't even flinch. If there wasn't numbing cream used idk if I would've done it. But there are options out there !

I don't think it's abuse but in my opinion, the child should have the choice as to when he or she wants to get their ears pierced, my little sister is 5 and never got them pierced and now she is deciding she wants them. It doesn't hurt to wait :)

Lol I've seen a 6 yr old react worse than a 6 month old. Plus by the time they're 6 the holes won't close up when earrings go flying like they do with a 6 yr old

Personally I think they are talking about doing it with a gun. If I had s girl I'd take her to a tattoo shop and have it done with a needle. That gun can cause so much damage to a little ones ears.

It's definitely not child abuse. I personally thing you should wait til they have a say. I got mine done when I was 3 years old and they looked normal (before I got gauges) but I have seen some cases where if you get them done when they're too little, their ears obviously grow so the earring ends up looking a little off centered.

I don't think it's child abuse me personally I prefer while they are babies only because it's easier to care for and not having to worry about them trying to take the earrings out or anything like that

Not child abuse, people really need to be worried about the people who cuss at their children and treat them like crap.......now that's child abuse.
