You shouldn't microwave plastic bottles but under 3 months youre better off with bottled water or boiling a big batch of water and keeping it in a jug that's washed. Tap water is more likely to have impurities so they recommend boiling it. How many bottles do you have. Go for a bottle warmer if you can spare the expense. My friend with twins said it was her saving grace

If you are using the tap water you should boil it to purify it. We always use infant water. You can get it for around $1 a gallon at any grocery store down the baby aisle. You'd be surprised how long the gallon will last.

We never boil, use it straight from tap even though she was a preemie, she has never had any issues. My 6 year old was given tap water in her formula and she has always been healthy

@tashamagolan, was she a new born when you started that? Mine is only three weeks old

She was about 3 weeks old when we started with our 4 month old. With my 6 year old she was a newborn when me and my ex husband started it

When he was first born I always used baby water but now I use a little of both

I use bottled water but I never drink the tap myself. Your love should be fine but id change it to bottled.

I've never given tap to mines unless it's been boiled/sterilized. I also use purified bottled water. Idk...but in the past we've gotten warnings via news or mail about potential salmonella or other bacteria in tap water and advised to boil prior to consuming. Then again, I don't drink tap myself.

You can buy one of these for under $20 bucks (bought mine from Walmart) in order to sterilize the bottles in the microwave. If not, just use a large pot on the stove- did that for my first 4 kiddies ☺️
