I've never had to do this before but I did go threw it when I was little with my parents. My mom had a birthday party for me on the day of my birthday and then that weekend my dad threw me a party at his place.
@rosasyaireth, I agree with @cclark289, just get along for the small amount of time and then go on ur merry way. My theory is one u have a child with someone ur connected for life birthdays graduations marriage grandkids the other is always gonna be around so we have to make the best of it. My parents did this when I was a kid too. I hope I don't have to ever with my son bc we been together so long but before marriage we briefly talked of the issue way before we had kids.

Actually no i didn't I can't stand my father 😂 but since your daughter is only 1 you should do it with both of you there I was a lot older when my parents separated @rosasyaireth,
Oh lol no I wasn't talking about me 😅 is just yesterday we went to a birthday party, and our friend was telling us how the ex couldn't come cause she was "working" but she knew he was going to throw a party since like a month ago, she could of ask the day off, but I just thought it was kind of selfish of her for not going, The baby is only two you know I feel like they should be doing this together, she's always been like this she only cares about her 😒 (we used to be friends) @nessairieray,
