Just wondering, how does everyone on here feed their baby?
Also if you breast feed how long did it take you to get the 'corrrect latch'?
I have had them help me, still struggling though.. trying to persevere but it's so difficult.
She stays up for like 4 hours on the night not wanting to be put down and constantly feeding n duno if this is because of the bad latch? X
Ask your health visitor for help when they visit. They will guide you and get baby to latch. It can be quite disheartening when baby isnt latching right but keep at it x
She just keeps nipple feeding.. struggle to get her to open her mouth wide enough or she'll fall asleep on me or suck on her lips so i cant get her mouth open. When you feed do you hold them by the neck or just do what's comfortable? I find the position they tell you to hold them in so hard/uncomfortable especially coz she's a big baby x
I only managed 10days cause we couldn't get the latch right and she kept taking herself on and off and then couldn't get back on and just got really frustrated so we had to give formula too! She only has a tiny mouth too! It was just too painful to carry on my nipples bled pretty much every feed 😖 I found the rugby ball position easiest to do it! And you could try nipple shields as they helped me a bit! X
