My Birth Story!
I was admitted after my water broke at Golden Corral at 7:30pm on the 23rd. Well I was started on pitocin after not progressing on my own at 5:50 the next morning. Well spent the entire day with pitocin dosages increasing made it from 1 cm to 3cm then was given an epidural. The epidural did not completely numb my right side of my body. Spent 2 more hours waiting for something to happen, but my body completely stopped responding to the pitocin. I was then already hitting the 24 hour mark with my water broken. Ended up getting rushed into an emergency C-section. They gave me the anesthesia, but it still left me feeling parts of my right side. I felt the initial cut going from left to right. My anxiety shot through the roof. I started shaking and kept telling them I could feel everything on my right side. They finally put me to sleep. The last thing I remember before passing out is hearing that my baby girl was out. And my husband bringing her to my head. I woke up about an hour and a half later and had a hard time figuring out what happened. My C-section was over quickly 27 minutes to be exact. And I am now in recovery doing great still in shock, but have spent the entire day snuggling up with my beautiful rainbow baby. She was born at 9:22 pm weighing 6lbs 11oz and measured 19 in exactly. Though things didn't go as planned I'd do it all over again just for her!
