Hey mommas! I'm needing some help/advice with crib training/restricting nighttime nursing.
Our Jaxon in 13 months old. We are still breastfeesing but have been slowing down. He hasn't had a binky since 10 months old. Bed time is 8pm and he's usually really awesome about it. It's getting him to stay I'm his crib. He used to be better about it but we slacked and started bringing him into our bed in the middle of the night. It just got more and more early in the night. We are trying to get him to sleep in his crib in his room(he loves his room). Him sleeping with us even half the night isn't working for any of us. He wakes up mad because I'm not comfort nursing him every 2 hrs.
I'm not sure what's the best way to get him back to being used to his bed. Let him scream and keep checking??? Is there a better way???

I bought a futon mattress to lay on the floor in my baby's room when he relapsed. This way I could go in and lay down with him, but keep him in his room so he got used to being there again. I would just sneak out and leave him on the mattress when he went back to sleep until eventually he just slept through the night again.

Thank you! I was thinking about getting a bed to keep in his room... I can't have him laying with me. He expects to nurse... =/ @rhealize

Mine was the same way. I think I ended up nursing him until he was 20 months old. Little pill just decided he always needed to. Maybe have daddy lay with him instead? Or wear a sports bra so baby can't go digging 😂

Lol! I love that I'm able to breastfeed but he's slowed down so much that my supply is dropping(personally hoping that we can stop soon as much as I love that connection). Him wanting to pacify on me is so painful! I'm dry!
The digging! He bit me through my time shirt a few weeks ago! 😂😂😂 @rhealize

That's why a sports bra 😂 a high impact one with padding. I was so tempted to try making fake breasts to wear just to spare mine. (Ever see Meet the Fockers? Something like the grandpa made in that movie 😂)
