Waiting for pedi nurse to call me but have any of you experienced this?? My daughter is 8 months I go to change her diaper everything appears normal then I wipe and noticed what seemed like brownish blood... so I wiped again and it happened again. I was able to determine it is coming from her vaginal area (where you'd push a baby out).. like I said it's very light bleeding almost looks like spotting after a period?? im thinking possibly an infection?? Idk any one deal with this before? I'm impatiently waiting for the nurse to call 🤔🙄

I am following this. My grandmother told me about this and said its normal for it to happen to girls. But I would like to hear from someone else.

I've heard it is normal for a newborn but I feel that she is to old now to be experiencing it.. I also know they can get it if being weened off breastmilk because of hormones but that isn't the case here either..

I've heard it's normal but I'd definitely check with pedi first!!

Thanks for the advise ladies! I spoke with the pedi nurse and she said that since there was no other symptoms and it was just like spotting to keep an eye on her for now. They aren't sure what could have caused it.. so I gave her a bath after that and I haven't seen anymore since!!😊😊@zuly2312,
