Spotting in the beginning is pretty normal

Dark brown is old blood. It happened to me with all 3 of my pregnancies.

Thanks ladies. I'm having some cramping also. Like period cramps but milder and a weird prickly pulling sensation in my bellybutton. Is this stuff normal also?

I've had alot of spotting and bleeding thro my first trimester. Both my babies were perfectly healthy just try not to over do yourself or worry too much. Brown usually means old blood. You should go to Dr if it's bright red or alot.

If the cramps are mild and don't hurt really bad it's normal so is the pulling feeling I've had it. Try not to worry too much hope everything gets easier for you
