Is it really hard to wean your baby off of pacifiers haven't had my baby yet but I was thinking about trying these when she gets old enough

I didn't want my daughter to have one but I gave in one day and gave her one cause she wouldn't stop crying. She was about a month old when I gave it to her. She stopped taking it on her own around 6 months old. She will now be 10 months old next week and still hasn't had one anymore.
It's different for all babies. It depends on what is their comfort. My son gave up the bottle on his own at 5 months. My only piece of advice is if your baby shows no interest in a pacifier, don't worry about giving her one. I babysit a 7 month old and she hated the pacifier but her parents stuck it in her mouth constantly even if she wasn't crying. Now she won't give it up
