Breast milk is better for the baby because it has nutrients that formula will never have. You could pump and still give your baby your milk. I've never had that done. I just know from other moms and a breastfeeding counselor at the wic office. Maybe you should research a specialist to give you options and more knowledge about what you can do. No one will judge because it's your choice and you're the mother. WIC office people are super nice when it comes to broadening your options. I recommend it if you're unsure

I decided to exclusively breast feed my daughter. It can be hard for some people, but we've had a decent experience with it. The only issue we've had is her having a tight latch when she was born. But that went away quickly.

The experience is different with every baby. So I'd say go for what you think is best. You never know, your baby could easily take both breast and bottle.

I highly recommend you take a breastfeeding class through the hospital you will deliver at or your OB office before your baby is born (usually taught by a Lactation consultant). I had some trouble with pain in the beginning and the class as well as having a Lactation consultant to go see during the first several weeks made all the difference. By 1 month breastfeeding was a piece of cake. Also, my son will take any brand of bottle at any temperature. Every baby is different but he is not picky about that. He just wants to eat!

I bottle fed my first 2 and breastfed my 3rd. I loved breastfeeding, it was such a beautiful bond between my son and myself. I only lasted for 8 months because I could only take 3 weeks maternity leave and did not build a big enough stash. I also have the benefit of living 5 mins from my work so my lunch breaks I went home to feed and pump.

I fully intend on breastfeeding my 4th and taking 12 weeks of maternity leave this time around, and really build my stash before resuming my 45+ hr work weeks

I did both... my daughter was a preemie, so she could not latch to start with... so I pumped and bottle fed... we also had to add a tiny bit of formula to my breast milk to increase the calories she was getting, so by the time she was strong enough she was quite use to a bottle, and the transition to the breast was a bit frustrating, until I was given a nipple shield! That was a totals game changer! I had no issues after that with breast or bottle... only got to breast feed for 5 months because my supply never came in completely because she was so early... but I'm glad I had a chance to go as long as I did! I got lots of help from the lactation consultant at the hospital!

My daughter takes both no problem i breastfeed at home she geys my milk in bottles when im at work. Its way cheaper thats why i breastfeed.
