So with my first I had contractions 1-2 mins apart and was in terrible pain, but was only dilated to 1 because the doctor "made me a 1". With this baby I am at almost 2 cm and 50-60% effaced. Does that mean labor will start soon? I wanna go walk the beach (20 mins from me) Saturday while my husband goes fishing, but he said I'm not allowed to go that far 🙄 I guess because we only know what we experienced last time which was misery lol

I was at 3cm and i worked for 3 more weeks before being induced 2 weeks after my due date, dilation doesnt always move fast.

@beebaby, oh geez! With my first I have no idea what happened. No dilation but 1 min contractions so I had to be put on pitocin when I went in. They tried sending me home because I wasn't dilated, but my contractions wouldn't stop. This time I'm dilating with no contractions so it's a completely different experience. Lol

@jaxmomma he was the awkward one and the quickest birth of all 3
my first 2 were spontaneous.. I did not dilate until I started having regular contractions.. And with all be my 1st because they broke my water at 4cm. after having my waters broke at 9 cm in had my last 2 within 10 mins.
