Does anyone have a cat with a young baby coz i have a cat and people are saying to get rid of it coz…

I have a cat and I'm due in 3 weeks. Have no intention of getting rid of the cat! U never know how an animal is gonna behave...as long as you keep an eye on them it's fine. I hate when people say get rid of your pet for a baby...animals can really look after a baby n be protective the only thing you have to watch out for is cat wanting to sleep near baby because they can smell milk or the body heat. I would never get rid of an animal based on what other people assume...you will see for yourself anyway. Plus there is tons of girls on here with newborns and numerous cats. I wouldn't listen to people x

Thanks i have 2 cats and a dog and they are family so it would break me if i had to get rid of them there like my babys too lol I'm only 13 weeks can't wait lol been trying for 2 years xx
