Question? I had been told by family that nursing laying down can cause ear infections. I don't see why it's different bc…

@russok2 cosleeping is seriously the best when you breastfeed. The only problem is I'm trying to let him wean himself and eventually sleep in his own bed (please dont judge me for having my almost 2 year old sleep in my bed since birth )

Ladies thank u all so much we co sleep and I even let him use me as a paci I just love it sometimes I can't sleep bc of him but then when he does sleep for hrs straight and not wake up to eat or nibble I'm kinda sad so I just go with what works. The reason why I'm questioning it is bc after studying the ear online and at dr it clearly shows that liquid can pool in the ear and even Kelly mom says formula or bottle feeding can cause it but we don't do either only bf and it can't cause it they say. U know how we just know our kids well I feed him 95% of time in bed on left boob so his left ear is facing up it's also the same ear he touches often and always touches while nursing in chair during the day. That's how I noticed the infection the first time. I'm really trying to prevent it from happening again. It was never bad he never cried or showed signs of pain. Any thought of issues of what could be the cause. He was perfectly healthy until this 6 days before his 6m checkup

Jj "cross my fingers " has yet to have an ear infection even though a few times in the beginning unknowingly I have sprayed milk in jjs ear 😔 it was when jj knew that if he sucked hard enough and fast enough that my milk will come shooting out 😂 @russok2 I was joking a lot of people judge each other on this app especially for co sleeping @caseyxo2017 lol I have no idea 😩😩😩 our doctor said he will when he's ready and that it's just an emotional connection now that he eats actual food and drinks regular milk I'm in his pacifier, his comforter and his snack all in one lol he is getting surgery on Monday so I know he's going to be hooked on me while he recovers and then hopefully he can start the baby led weaning process because I want to try for another baby around the end of this year.

Lol this is why I constantly check his ears since he was like 2 months old but it deffinetly stopped since my supply is sort of decreasing....i just hope my right boob will shrink back to a 40 dd like the left did months ago ,before I get pregnant with his sibling

I nurse and do alot at night still. My son had tubes put in back in Jan from ear infections and the wouldn't drain. His Dr hasn't said anything about not nursing while lays down. And @jjsmommyjj711 mine will he 2 April 15th and we are trying to wean its tough we also Co-sleep
