Took my husband to his pre-op appointment and our daughter had all the nurses distracted. Every single person that worked there was playing and talking with her. It was so funny she had a little audience and was having a blast. Then her daddy walks out with a male nurse and this nurse walks up to me and says "I just want to tell you that I had your husband take his wedding ring off just in case his hand swells we don't want to have to cut it off. So he didn't take it off to see his girlfriend. Don't yell at him the ring is in his pocket." I just laughed and said ok that's good to know. He then told me "Don't worry all the medication we give him when he has surgery he will be telling you every secret he has, so it's a perfect opportunity to get anything and everything out of him or ask him for something you want and he might say yes or tell you he doesn't even know you and your a weird creepy lady."
