Pacifier vs thumbsucking?

Personally I like the fact my son uses a paci. I always buy mam, which is approved for when they're teeth come in so it won't mess them up. He has a bad habit of already putting things in his mouth. The last thing i want really is him sucking on his thumb if it's dirty or has been in something that could harm him

@xslayyeveryday, i never used a paci with none of my six children but this one i think i want to incorporate one to help myself

My baby doesn't take a pacifier. She really doesn't need one though because she rarely cries, just fusses here & there if shes hurting from teething so I don't guess we need one. I'd probably prefer a pacifier over the thumb though. Lol

I rather have a paci then a thumb sucker. Ever time my kids even got close to there mouth with their thumb I pulled it away

Well if she's a month old I'm sure she will find other ways to self soothe. She's still learning that she has hands and such. And by putting her hands in her mouth or sucking her thumb. It actually teachers her that it is indeed something.

I would. Personally. Try different pacis. You can get rid of those but not a thumb
