I need help from anyone who has experience with a baby pooping blood that's not breastfed

Didn't you just start solids?

Pooping blood is usually an allergy or from constipation

Yeah, I did but less than a tablespoon. I started her on an iron supplement on Sunday and that's when it started. I'm just wondering when it's gonna end :( @ashleydunn

Ive taking iron my entire life and it will cause constipation which can make her butt holes bleed.... it happened to my first I felt so bad for her. It took awhile for her body to get used to the iron

Some mommas put babies on probiotics to help but I don't know anything about that.

It could be a milk allergy from formula. Definitely see your pediatrician about it and they can recommend and give samples of soy or other formulas. Or it could just be related to the iron and no big deal. You could even call and discuss with nurse at the peds office.

We had a Dr's appointment yesterday and we narrowed it down to the agave sugar in the supplement but the Dr just said to wait it out.. I'm just getting so concerned. She has no other symptoms tho so she said there's nothing they can do. @kenitra

If it's bright red or red it's not to concerning. As long as it doesn't turn black.
