Well the audiologist was a bust. They can't figure out whether Alice has true hearing loss or a blockage in her ears. So now we have to schedule a sedated hearing test πͺ
Because of all these appointments Alice had a 3 day weekend but I'm so glad she's going back to daycare tomorrow. Mommas falling behind on school work
Urg. I understand the struggle of lots of doctor appointments. My first son has a speech delay- since his 1/2 bother has hearing loss we were concerned about it but it was ruled out. He still gets tested at least once a year to be sure.
With my second son he was born very prematurely and he had 3-4 failed (hearing, don't get me started with vision tests as well) tests and failed even after his due date passed and we had to do one of those super long, annoying appointments with a crabby baby two hours away from home. *sigh*. Hang in there mama. It's better to be checking for things things now though. Hopefully the sedated test will be the last one she does for awhile, or for ever.
