Not 100% sure... think it's to discuss what pain relief you plan on having during labour x

There are a few reasons why they make this appointment but it's just a brief chat about pain relief options as above said.

@squish86 yeah maybe I was a bit worried when I read it so I had a look to see why people had to see anaesthetists and everything was coming back as high BMI so I was pacing round saying the cheeky sods, got a scan to see where my placenta is on weds so I'll try find out then so I'm not left wondering 😂 x

I have the same thing. Are you classed as high risk atal? Or have any underlying medical conditions? If you are consultant led they do it too. Xx

@laurabump27 no not classed as high risk all that was mentioned in my notes was the fact I had a bad back problem a few year back, and I got a letter through last week saying I had low iron that's all I can think of xx

I mentioned I have painful joints sometimes. So it could be because of your back. It's nothing to worry about just incase you needed pain relief it's ready for you. Mines on Thursday so I'll let you know xx
