If there's any moms out there struggling with babies that have terrible Eczema( me🙋🏻until now) here's something I've done that really helped!! (Even helps bad diaper rash)
--Bath--
• Oatmeal (about one cap full)
• Baking Soda (about 1tsp)
• Aquaphor Baby gentle Shampoo and Wash
•Water
~In Tub: about 4 cups of water give or take (very small amount in tub)
~In Bowl: full bowl of water and a cup for rinsing hair.
• Soft wash cloth
--After bath--
• Receiving Banket (they're soft, unlike towels) PAT DRY.
• Extra Virgin Organic Coconut Oil (better for hot days, because it's lighter) OR Petroleum Gelly Baby Hypoallergenic (works better but its thick).
You can do both I mean that's totally do able just bathe your baby like this then use the creams you have if you still want to 😊 @meandmydaughterjamilliya,
Yeah they have me the same prescription but then they said to not use it on her face and don't use it for to long and so her face was terrible and it barely helped &once I stopped using it it all came right back☹️& aveeno never helped either. So I stopped and found a better solution 😊
Her doctors literally talk to each other about my daughters "server case of Eczema"😓but I'm excited to bring her in now all clear and smooth😭🤗 @meandmydaughterjamilliya, @wendy1224,
Oatmeal baths are great for eczema! For the spots where my daughter has a flare up we do an eczema lotion, hydrocortisone cream and then seal it in with vaseline
