ANY INPUT GREATLY APPRECIATED !!!

Has anyone tried a postpartum wrap or waist trainer? I want to get one but I'm scared to spend the money. Is it worth it? Do I need a brand name? Which brand? Do I want Velcro because it's easy or will it be more noticeable? How can I guess my size? I want to get it now so I have it for right away after the birth so it'll be most effective. Hoping it'll help with postpartum pain too..
