Travis will be 11 months next week. Well he stands with the help of furniture and will walk along them. And he'll walk if you hold his fingers or if he's using a walker. But he is still not standing on his own. And when I try to help he just sits and won't stand. Is it normal? Or should he be standing independently by now? He'll move up to the toddler class in June but I'm worried he won't be walking by then !

Every babies different... just give him sometime... 😊 i know this sounds funny but i let me daughter crawl around in a tube, the circle float for the pool... and shes been walking and standing in it lol

I'm not a doctor but I would say there's no reason to be concerned. These babies do everything on their own time!

My daughter didn't start standing by herself until a year old, and wasn't walking till almost 15 months. Some kids just take their time, just be patient and keep encouraging him. If the pediatrician isn't worried about his development I wouldn't be either

I wouldn't worry, my daughter been standing on her own since 7months and she is 10 months now and not walking. When I try to help her she prefer to sit down as well. So just know your not alone, our babies learn at there own speed and do things when they want. 😊
