What age can I start giving my newborn water?

I started a little water when she started solids. Newborns don't need anything but their moms milk or formula to stay hydrated

Ok thanks.... This my st time breastfeeding and I was thinking maybe I could give her water..

Not till one year..

My son drinks water like 2 oz once a week with his baby food if its too thick. His doctor said after 6 months it was fine in moderation

She gets all the fluid she needs from BM until 6 months and then they can have 1 oz of water a day

My pediatrician said 6 months but an ounce or so. Not too much.
