Ok to try and make this short I have a brain tumor the only meds that work is medical marijuana I am proscribed it (otherwise it's surgery) I hate to say I am dependent on it, otherwise I have black out spells, migraines and extreme vomiting. I am 32 weeks and 2 days I have special permission to use cannabis as the benefits out way the risk. But my problem is I want to breast feed. My mid wife said I absolutely can and it won't have negative effects . But everyone I know minus my SO is trying to tell me it's bad and can cause brain development disorders. I have done alot of research and not much actual studies have been done. I'm wondering if anyone else has breast feed with THC in there system and how is your baby's brain development doing. I have no judgemental opinion I just need advice. ( I am not a big fan of formula never have been) and just want to naturally supply my son with his nutrition. So lost please help!

No will not hurt the baby all my siblings and me myself and my nieces and nephews we are actually smarter and more focused I skipped a couple grades and I can learn things faster than most people plus as child I was barely sick same for my siblings so I think you will be ok

No studies have been done (from what I've been told and researched) because mommies don't wanna own up to it which is so silly. a couple of my gfs smoked during pregnancy and while breast feeding and their kids are perfect 💜 you should be fine. Part of being a good mom is taking care of yourself and if that's what you need to do, then by all means go for it. If it comes down to it and you need to switch to formula that's ok too. My daughter has been formula feed only starting at 1 week and she's perfectly developing and hitting every milestone. Take care of yourself mama 💜💙😘😘😘😘

There is research, I forgot the ladies name but she did a study on mothers in Jamaica, you can google it.
My personal experience is that I smoked during pregnancy and breast feeding and both of my kids are very smart, social and perfect.

Also something I learned is don't listen to most people, everyone has 'advice' to give but it doesn't mean they are right.
