Please tell me I'm not over reacting. My 25th birthday is approaching and my boyfriend has been going above and beyond to make surprise plans for the day. He has been confiding into my best friend to figure out everything and to finalize any plans he has set. Well she literally hits me up 3 times a week blowing up his spot and down playing down what he wants to do. Then keeps asking what I wanna do. I reply it's not much of a surprise if I know what's going on and that I don't care I just want to eat good food and be around those who care about me. Now I'm upset with her cause she keeps ruining the surprise and downplaying my mans ideas. Am I wrong to be annoyed or upset ? Am I overreacting ? Helpppppp

I'd be irritated also! You should tell him to quit telling her things because she keeps trying to give you hints... and you really want his surprise!

She doesn't sound like much of a friend to me. I would tell her she needs to cut the crap and he needs to not accept or ask her for help any more. He's doing a really sweet thing for you and she's ruining it

That's so sweet that he wants to surprise you. But not so nice of your friend to not respect that you don't want to know. Maybe you should hit to him that she's blowing it for him and ask him if he can just handle it on his own. It's nice that he wanted to include your friend but I think she's not up to keeping it a surprise.
