It was hard cause when my son was born i went through ppd and didnt really like him till he was 3-4m and now i have a daughter and im not really a girly girl so i havent decorated her with bows and such cause i know shes a girl lol but thats why i have the screan name embrace motherhood. Im learning how to like being a mom. And i raised my son to be independent so he doesnt realy need me to do much for him so its a big adjustment.
@embracemthrhd2 I can imagine. My boys also are very independent but I know it will take some getting used to for them. I agree about embracing motherhood. Not all mothers are the same just as not all pregnancies are the same. No one has room for judgment. PPD is something we all can't help but only find ways to cope and deal with to be able to function in general not only as a mother.

Right thats how i was my first born is 10 and I just had my daughter. The other 2 are my step kids.

I also have two stepkids, one is 11 and the other is 4. How difficult was it for you giving the gap??
