Trying to stay on a budget and feed family of 8 is so frustrating sometimes. I buy groceries weekly. Thursday to Thursday. I get what we need for the week and that's it! I plan dinners to help save money. I buy enough to last a week and some lasts more (barely) I bought 3 gallons of milk and 2 bags of cereal.. we ran out early because over the weekend the older kids decided they wanted more than one bowl.. and I told them when you run out of food that's on y'all. Oldest (12) is complaining there is no food for breakfast blah blah... Well duh? You and your brothers ate it all. 😒

Aww thanks!! Yes I use my crock pot like there is no tomorrow. Haha and it's tricky sometimes due to some kids not liking stuff and the others loving it. That happens at least one time a week! But with6 growing boys. We have to have plenty of food around.
