@courtneye26, I think it's too soon. My baby used to be that way because she wanted to be awake and discover new things. She sometimes wouldn't take her naps in the day too. Which made it harder for her to fall asleep at night. Make sure he takes naps during the day. Try taking him a warm bath before bed. He will get better. Little man is trying to get this all figured out like you are 😘❤

@courtneye26, and please be patient and don't get aggravated. You will just regret it later and hate yourself for it. Your baby needs you to help him.

I never rocked my baby before. I always talk to her in a calm voice. I just hold her, and when I see her eyes getting low I lay her down, and she falls asleep on her own.

@_mama.mia_, thanks. He takes at least 2-3 naps during the day and they are long naps but when it's time for bed he rubs his face and eyes and bites his thumb scratches his head and that keeps him up. It's amazing the difference of how easy it is to get him to nap versus him going to bed at night.

@texasbama, that used to work for me as well but when he goes to see his father and his side of the family he comes back doing the most. I tried talking to his dad and asking him to speak with his family but it does no good

@courtneye26, awww I swear I know what you mean. See they get frustrated too! If my baby gets like that I just keep trying different things until my girl falls asleep. Breastfeeding her, rocking her, humming a song. I know it's exhausting but it's temporary.

When worst comes to worst put the baby down and let him cry while you calm down, then back at it. Mine will fuss when I put her in her bed to sleep but then goes to bed. I will only pick her back up if she starts to really cry. Not just starting..

My son has put himself to sleep since he was like 3 months old I believe. We put him down tired but awake to fall asleep on his own! I knew he was ready because we lay in bed every morning together and he started falling asleep on his own next to me
