Really hope we hear from the hospital soon over harriets tongue tie, had a particulary bad day and now night with her 😣 through the day yet again shes suffered so bad with wind due to her poor latch the poor thing could only do half hour naps here and there before she woke up screaming in agony with her legs up by her tummy! now its night im having a similar problem only shes now managing an hour to maybe an hour and half if im lucky between feeds and shes struggling really bad to feed longer then a few minutes before she pulls away and crys with frustration! So angry about this whole situation its been such a tough 5 weeks!! Ladies if your little one as a tongue tie and the midwifes/hospital try to fob you off and tell you to leave it because its only mild/slight do not listen to them for the sake of a 5 second snip that can free the babys tongue its worth having it done as soon as possible! My poor baby is struggling so bad to latch and feed proper its heart breaking to watch and her weight gain is slowing now as well because she can still only take 2 ounce the majority of the time before she tires herself out with all the sucking and lack of latch 😔 sorry for such a big vent but im so upset about the whole thing and want to make more mummies aware of this so the same thing doesnt happen to you, if id of known that day at the hospital when she was a day old what problems we where going to have id of refused to leave that place untill she was seen and sorted
