I need help!! I'm trying to get this car seat figured out but the straps are rubbing really bad on his neck no matter if I move the adjustment up or down. Am I doing it wrong?

Anything that is sold separately from the carseat compromises the safety of it. You should only have what comes with it on it

And if he's rear facing the straps need to come from at or below his shoulders. Have you tried adjusting so it's below his shoulders and coming up over? That might help

@kellyt23, yea I moved it up and down to see if it made a difference but it didn't. All I know is it's from evenflo I don't know the name of the seat😂

@kellyt23, once I get home today I think I'm just gonna message evenflo see if they have strap covers that won't hurt the seat or whatever
