I'm a firm believer in a cut throat guest list. If you know certain ppl are going to cause problems or cause you to waste your money, do not invite them. If feelings get hurt, explain to them why you made the decision you did.

The family I'm referring to don't even call/message me and ask about my son, they didn't show up to my baby shower (I know things happen, but they couldn't even take time to call/text or even Facebook me to let me know.) I don't need people in my sons life that are going to constantly disappoint him. It sucks I would like him to know all his aunts, uncles and cousins, but ultimately it will be their loss. You know?

Oh well then there's no reason to even tell them. Totally understand. Only the ppl you genuinely want in your child's life should be there to celebrate with you. And I'm not just talking about his first birthday party.

@twinsandcounting Yeah I'm only telling the people that I'm inviting and if they happen to hear about it and are offended, they can't feel free to speak badly about me, because I know they won't address me like an adult would do. Oh well. All I care about is raising a happy and healthy child, he is very much loved by the people who do love and care about him.
