here's why..

My son was born with a true tight knot in his umbilical cord. Now knots are common but true tight knots are rare. So rare they happen 1 in every 2000 births. I'm LUCKY my son is here because most babies born with this are usually born sleeping. My little boys cord was white as snow, he had no oxygen or blood flow to him in te womb while I was in labor.. a very tough labor at that. This week's theme holds significance to me because he TURNS 1 ON the 18th. I am SO LUCKY and have such great fortune for this very moment I captured in this picture with him.
