@_maria you're welcome. I had clinical depression before pregnancy. Then I have both postpartum and still clinical depression. And anxiety disorder as well. So I know how it goes to have depression before a baby and then dealing with both types after having a baby. I got to the point where I became suicidal, a self mutalator and I went to a behavioral center, for it. And it was the best thing I could've done for not only myself but my son. It was a hard week and a half without my boy. But when I came out of there, it's like I was a brand new person thanks to the help I got, as well as the meds I'm now taking. Whatever it is you have to do whether it's ask for help, or find someone to vent to...do it because at the end of the day, your baby needs you and loves you. Which is why I took my course the way I did. The way I was feeling, wasn't fair to my son. Or myself. It's still tough. But I'm able to handle things a little better bc of my antidepressants and the help of my therapy(I read that you didn't like therapy, and that's okay! most don't ). You just gotta find what helps you best :) you can push through it mama, it won't be easy. But it'll eventually get better. It's rough. I waited until my son was 10 months old to get help. But from here on out, I'm motivated for him to do better. And I'm sure you're gonna be just as motivated to be better whichever way it is you go about it, to be better for yourself and your baby!

I'm glad it was better during pregnancy. But I'm sorry it's worse now. It can take a while to find the right therapist and type of therapy, unfortunately. Do you think talking to your doctor and even asking about options with meds (which would be limited if you're breastfeeding) would help? You can find out what's available and go from there. @_maria

It's rough, mama. And post partum depression is killer. I've been battling it since I had my son 11 months ago. I still deal with it amongst other issues as well. If you ever need someone to talk to. I got your back, girl. I'm a message away. 😘 stay strong, love that sweet baby, and you continue to do what you have to do to make it. My PPD put me on a dark path. I never wanna see anyone get the way I got.
