Had a rough couple of days as sometimes I have to deal with my depression and anxiety at it's fullest. I would rather deal with it then take the medication as it's potentially harmful for the baby. Unfortunately today it really got the best of me and I ended up in the hosptial. I was so scared but oh so thankful to have my partner with me by my side ( one of his biggest fears or discomforts is going to the hospital). In the end it turned out to put me at ease all they had to do was an ultra sound. I habe been feeling extreme guilt constantly crying and feeling as if I put stress directly on my baby. The doc reassured me that the stress wouldn't harm my baby but it sure could harm me. They put cold goop on my belly and fired up the machine. Instantly I smiled. Yes it's only six weeks 4 days and he was to small to see. Just seeing that little cavity where he's growing strong inside of me gave me the strength to carry on. I got my man to take a picture of it and now anytime I doubt myself I look into that cavity of pure love and hope and say I am strong I am beautiful and I am a mother. I can do this. Sending out lots of love. Does anyone else get really sad or down randomly. What helps to try to calm you down. I find yoga helps and deep breathing. Anything else ?? Much love

Your post made me choke up a bit because I know how anxiety can get the better of you. It was hard for me to be calm in the beginning because we had a hard time conceiving after losing other ones pregnancies. I would literally hold my breath until they found the heartbeat during my ultrasounds. But the doctor is right, the stress will harm you moreso. Focus on the good that is around you. The love you have for your baby, the love your partner has for you, and the love God has for all of you. Yoga is great to bring your mind and body together for sure. I also did a lot of meditation and visualization to help keep me out of my head. Plus I took a lot of Epsom salt baths. Lol water makes me calm and since I couldn't get near the ocean, my bath tub has to do. Confirm with your doctor first, but magnesium does help keep your nerves in check. Because I was low on calcium/magnesium they said to go ahead and supplement.
Remember your hormones are a bit all over the place while pregnant, so when life starts to overwhelm you just breath through it because none of the fear and anxiety is permanent. It too shall pass. You got this. You are fine. And the baby is fine too. ❤️ @caitie,
