So ladies,

My little girl slept through the night from 5 weeks old, she would go for 12 to 14 hours. Over the past couple of months though that's completely changed. NOTHING has changed for her, she has her tea and bath at the same time, a warm bottle before bed, she goes to bed at the same time but she wakes up 3, 4 or 5 times a night for a bottle. I've tried giving her water to see if it's habit and she just screams for milk, she wakes up at 5am now and refuses to go back to sleep. I'm exhausted with it. She eats so much food she has 3 full meals, a bottle at lunch, 3pm with a snack and one before bed so she can't be hungry the health visitor said she eats plenty so why won't she sleep through? Someone help!

Unfortunately not all babies sleep through.. My niece didn't till she was nearly 2.. My boy is nearly 8 months old and still wakes once or twice for a feed.. Its just how it is @catherineln25 x

She's still in our room as we have just moved from Nottingham to Manchester so we have always been with my parents. The temperature always reads the same temperature? X

Not all babies wake due to hunger. They have developmental changes & growth spurts which can change their sleep patterns. Max slept through from 8weeks then around 6months started waking. He's nearly 8months now & sometimes he sleeps through, sometimes he wakes a few times. I don't feed him though I give him his dummy & bunny & he goes back to sleep. And unfortunately 5.30 wakes up are pretty normal. My eldest has always been an early riser. Could probably count on 1 hand how many times he's slept later than 6am lol. Joys of parenting! There are some theories that if you adapt their day time sleep it helps their night time sleep. For example. Their morning nap not being too close to when they woke up. Afternoon nap not being too close to bedtime etc. I've always let my boys lead with their routine but many Mum's say a strict routine has helped them.
