I just needed to RANT mommas, so thank you for listening to me 😊...I am getting kind of sick of my SO's family saying that my daughter is going to be just like their kids. Like no, she is going to be like her daddy & I, and more importantly her own person. I'm her mother...I exist too...I am probably just being hormonal, but I have been getting the vibe from them that they want our daughter to be just like them and that there is no way she is going to be anything like me.

My mother in law does the same shit. They always say my daughter looks just like my SO little sister... Every time my daughter does something shed say "omg camila always use to do that" . I'm sick of their shit

Me too! Like "oh my son does that", "she's going to have the same hair as my son", "she looks nothing like you. She looks more like my son"
Like excuse me 😕 it makes me upset more than anything because I know she doesn't look like me at all. She looks exactly like her daddy & I'm okay with that. It still hurts my feelings for people to rub it in.
