So we have decided on a name but other then to our parents and a few close friends we decided not to announce it until closer to time. We will probably do it before the baby shower. Anyone else doing the same or waiting until the baby is born?

My fiancés best friend waited till the baby was born but we pretty much all knew he was prob going to be a junior anyway

With my first son I announced the name ideas by 18 weeks because they were both unique choices, with my second son I didn't announce the gender until birth- I wasn't planning on waiting until birth but he came 11 weeks early so I had to announce it then.

We waited until about a month before she was born because we couldn't decide on a name, she didn't have a middle name until after she was born
