I'm running a little fever! Yesterday I went to the hospital because of my cyst on my ovaries they were hurting super bad. All they did was check on the baby they didn't even do an ultrasound on the cyst. And now I'm running a fever of 99.5 my average temp is 97-98. I know its not a lot if my fever gets worse should I go back to the hospital? FTM here..

If they were hurting super bad it's possible that one of them could have ruptured... I would not doubt if your bodies natural response would be to slightly raise your temp while it absorbs the fluids

@annekam1022, I have PCOS, so I've dealt with more cysts than I'd care to remember... never a pleasant experience... but thankfully after the rupture, they don't bother you any more

I've had a couple but the pain normally is just on one side. And the cyst is a size of a lime so I thought it would have hurt a lot worse when it ruptured but maybe not! @dreamermom,

@annekam1022, for me it was like an ick pick... very targeted and sharp... but within a couple hours it was all but gone.
