My daughter spit up when I tried alimentum too. She also spit up total comfort. Since I switched to sensitive she's been doing SO much better. I switched at 6 months. I know sometimes the ped doesn't want to switch formulas but in my case that was the best option. As long as your baby doesn't have an allergy it might be worth asking or trying. I'm shocked I thought that she was just a baby who was constantly spitting up, she would spit up every time she ate, between feedings, etc. but since switching to sensitive she doesn't too much and if she does is more like a wet burp. It's helped her gain weight faster too !
My son could not eat any kind of similic what so ever. I have tried every kind of similic they had and he would have spit up come out his nose and mouth. He had an intolerance to it. I put him on Enfimil Nutramigen and all the spit up stopped.
@indiavalentino22, yes hun, it's an orange can. The enzymes in it are of a different set up than total comfort (which is also partially digested) but worked for my daughter ! Hopefully it works for your baby

Formula: similac alimentum she was a colicky baby.. But it doesnt help
