Yes! It does! They started my labor at about 9:00 I got there at 7:00 in the morning and they hooked me up and met me relax and then at 9:00a.m they started my labor they did the cream which caused cramps and that did it, and then my baby boy boy was born at 7:00pm!

They didn't have to use pitocin on me, but it basically just makes you go into labor too

It can for some. It didn't do a thing for me. They then just hooked me up to pitocin.
