I did it vaginally and orally in my last week of pregnancy I would say go for it. Wear a panty liner and I did mine at night before bed after my shower.@doubleksmommy,
Girl me too i heard you take it at 34 weeks orally and 37 weeks orally and vaginally and i think you double it as you progress it doesn't put you in labor just softens your cervix and in most cases keeps you from tearing
Ladies I did not tear at all. I didn't start it until 37 weeks and I went over due date by 5 days but I had an awesome labor and progressed naturally with no med. u ladies can do this u were made for it don't let people tell u how bad it is bc it's not yes it's painful but if u can get half way u got it. Pushing felt good to me and the yuck part ur imagining the head crowning and u tearing is going to be so painful well it's actually not the contractions are all the pain trust me. I would start at 37 both oral and vaginal. Also discuss with ur drone that tearing is a big concern. Look it up online along time ago they did warm towel compression and actually paused at crowning this method is really what going to help with tearing lots of dr don't do this my dr said she don't but she did for me bc I asked for it most mom have the attitude get baby out fast that's actually really bad we paused 4mins at crowning it was hard but so special that moment I held my breath and felt hair and hubby looked but I think that's what helped the most. Think like this one step forward 2 steps back literally baby head push out little bit then baby head go back little bit over and over this process will help u stretch naturally slowly and prevent a tear. Ask for perineal massage during crowing I didn't ask for that but dr performed it she said she always does if baby gives her time too. Sorry this was long @doubleksmommy,
