My son loves to test me... I know yelling at him does nothing other than make me more irritated. If you take something from him, he screams, throws himself on the ground, or bites me. I can't get him to eat a lot because he gets mad and chucks his bowl or food. I know he has 3 teeth coming in, but I feel like he still shouldn't be a terror. Any discipline ideas for a 1 year old?

Show him your angry face and hand but don't hit him . Or you hit him once let him feel it. So he knows your serious.

Wow so rude lol..... ...hmmm well it's your baby you can always raise your voice a bit harder. Amd say noo ... when you hit him hard enuff he should know who boss. What a temper.

I have to be stern with my son when he's into something. I say NO in my "unacceptable mom voice" lol. I have a completely neutral look on my face. Some kids just go through a phase. Hopefully he gets better.

Well my son did the same would hit and my grandma would say when he hit u hit him a little harder than him you going to win. Not saying hurt him but if u allow it to get out of control now u will never be able to fix it and not only will he be hitting u but other people to. Just my thoughts.

@melindaflowers929, no you're exactly right! I have no problems with discipline. We were in the store today and he was so tired so he was hitting and biting me, so I smacked him back on the hand after he hit me and everyone stared like it was their business. I'm hoping it's something I can break him of fast!

The firm you become the more he will realize like awe okay she not playing with me...and on top of that u never want your kids to embarrass you. You show him who is in charge now and he will never question it later and thats a fact. My son got so many hits and whooping he is almost 6 now and all i have to do is give him a little and he get his whole life together.

@melindaflowers929 that last part though! Just give him a little and he gets his whole life together. That's my step kids, I got them so now all I gotta do is say their names in my stern voice and they get their act straight. Been their step momma 2 years and I ain't afraid to whoop that ass for misbehaving, they in my house so they gonna go by my rules or get the consequence.

@lucifermommy lol..and i dont blame you u doing what u are suppose to. My family say if you do t train your kids the street will and u definitely dont want them to because they not going to care about them...but we all learning
