So my and my hubby have decided we want to have another baby in the next two years. We both want a girl, but he really really wants a girl. It's so much pressure, I feel like he's just going to be disappointed if we have a boy, and it's going to be hard enough for me to give up my dream of having a daughter.

well as much as a gender is preferred just discuss that regardless of sex you'll both will be content on having another boy if it happens to be so. It sounds like both of you may be disappointed and every child is a blessing regardless of sex. Just be open about it and clear that you guys having another child regardless in two years preferably a girl and if not a boy is very much welcome 😉 @sarah433

Yea that's the problem. I know he will be so disappointed. I love my boys so much, and I just want another baby. I do want a girl, but I will love any baby. His disappointment is what will make it hard for me because he always talks like he loves his daughter more than anything, and I just want him to feel that way about our kids. Like he loves his son, but he sees boys and girls totally different @starting_over39,

Daddy's girl but he may not even have the bond he is looking for. I think as an older parent going through this again, just talk to him a bit more and reassure him and yourself that your trying for one more because you want another child not because you want a specific gender regardless of preference. @sarah433
