Venting:
I'm not a single mom. I've got a great husband and a wonderful father to my daughter. But it feels like I do EVERYTHING! We rotate in the morning on who gets up and changes her and feeds her. But after that I choose her outfits. I watch her play. I make sure she doesn't get in trouble. My husband does most of the punishments. I feed her lunch. Then change the next diaper. I put her down for a nap. I wake her up and change that diaper. When we go out I make sure everything is in the diaper bag. I watch her and carry her. I put her down for bed and make a bottle. It feels like I do the hard stuff and he does the fun stuff. Give her toys. Play at the park. Show her off to others. And I'm in the background with ratty hair (clean or not), bags under my eyes, carrying the diaper bag and stroller and handle the dog and still gotta act like I'm not tired. There's been many nights I have not slept until she was about 5 months so that I could be up and ready to feed her or change or or cuddle her. So when I ask my husband to do something especially when he comes home from work or at night it's the same excuse of "I'm tired, I'm busy". Again, many nights I haven't slept. Many times I was busy doing something. But yet I just gotta throw it over my shoulder like no big deal and I gotta just build it all up until I explode. The last time I did that I apparently had to get a job where I didn't like and get fired. I feel like I've been watching my baby forever and all I want is a break. When we go on trips I'm handling the baby. I don't get anyone else say "hey I'll watch the baby while you rest". So since no one does that I don't trust anyone to watch her. So everything is just a toss. I wanna break but I don't trust anyone. Urgh.
