Moms,

We had a lots of questions over our new feature of private profiles. Here are some clarifications and a general video about it: https://youtu.be/KoPnWKlMuu4

- To set your profile as private, please go to your profile page and tap the top gear icon to go to your Settings. Then press Privacy and you’ll see all your privacy settings. You can toggle on or off private accounts, Disable my profile link outside the app and private chats only with my followers. If you turn on private chats only with my followers, you cannot be in group chats with any non-followers.

- Once you turn private accounts on, new moms must request to follow your account to see your full profile and posts on the main newsfeed.

- Only your followers will see your posts on the main newsfeed but if you post on one of the channels, your post will be public. Also, if you comment on another post, moms who don’t follow you may be able to read your comments.

- You cannot be searched if you have a private profile. If you invite your friends to the app, have them join via your user invite link found on your profile page (top add mom icon), so they follow you automatically.

National mom.life Playdate Day 👭 Let's all meet up Thursday, June 1, 2017, which is also National Children's Day. Find your local moms in the app and meet up in your hometown! Choose a playground, coffee shop or whatever you decide. If you haven't already, start your own group chat with local moms. You can use Mom Finder (tap the top add moms icon from your profile page) or switch your feed settings to your area (top left icon for iPhone and top right icon for Android).
