i hated that growing up. getting compared to my cousins.

I fuckin hate that. Because I know first hand how that goes. I have an aunt who had her 3rd and last baby and apparently she's godsend and super smart (she turned 4). Then I have my grandmother who can't stop saying how incredible she is. Now, since I've brought into the world my son, my grandmother can't stop comparing. "Oh, I hope he's as smart as her.", "Maybe he will start walking and talking at a going age like her." And shit like that. I mean, my own grandmother made me despise a girl's name I had picked out if we were to have had a girl. 😡 I honestly find it absolutely ignorant. Especially own family members comparing and contrasting children who are meant to be DIFFERENT AND UNIQUE IN THEMSELVES. Eghhh, people. -_-

@angelicreani exactly my son is a big boy he's super tall. And my nephew is tiny and my family tries to compare them but I shut them up real quick. I say as long as they are both healthy then it shouldn't matter. My 3 year old just learned to go potty in the toilet and they also tried to say somethjg about it because my nephew learned when he was 1. So what?? Mine trained himself 😃
