My son is 13 months old, well he has the Graco Extend 2 fit car seat and his legs are up against my backseat, well if I pull that extender out his seat is hanging off my seat.. any advice? I know there not supposed to be front facing until there 2 but he's 24lbs and 32 inches long and I just can't figure anything out

Just don't pull it out.. many kids RF without the extender.. I didn't see a point to it TBH..he needs to by RF until two yes he's tall but he's still only a year old.. you can google csftl.org for suggestions.. the page is made by reputable car seat techs and has a ton of great info! :)

@corinalopez, thank you! I was just told by a few others that the way he's sitting now if we're in an accident it could break his legs

@camdensmommy0114, unlikely but yes he could and if he were FF he could be internally decapitated.. I'd rather have broken legs over a broken neck. Not saying it to scare you it's just the scary truth :(.. I FF my son at two and still feel odd about it.. I kind of want to RF him again.. they say it's best until 4 even because there bones are still developing enough to handle that kind of force
